Keepers of the Earth

In the last decade there’s been lots more talk about the environment and the role humanity plays in many of our planet’s hardships. People often share with me many of their personal questions like is recycling and composting enough to make a difference? Should we start considering major life style changes? Are we moving towards a more conscious generation of people who eventually will be able to save our World? Fear is often behind these discussions and although some people are genuinely concerned, I tend to observe that much of their worry is more towards saving humanity rather than saving Creation. A decade ago my husband and I decided to move from our home in the city to a house in the country. We searched for a place where we could enjoy at least an acre of land and be in nature. For at least five years, we had the pleasure of watching deer grazing in the back fields behind our home. The first spring when we moved in I remember being kept awake all night by the mating sounds o...

Reading Cathy's Dream

FROM CATHY: I’ll have to give this dream a lot of thought as it stayed in my memory with an urgent feeling of writing it down so I would not forget it and the same type of urgency to share it to hopefully gain a better understanding of it. Also when I woke up I found myself questioning whether someone had been in my dream space last night. It is possible as I have given one person permission when they are able to. FROM LISA: Lots of people think “they need to give permission” in order for people to visit their dream space. The fact of the matter is – it’s respectful and professional courtesy to ask permission to journey to someone’s space when you’re a traditional dreamer in service to community; but on a regular basis “we” (dreamers in general) journey to the dream space of others without even mentioning it. Where some characters are a figment of our imagination (so to speak) many other characters are regular visitors: People who are learning and healing along with us. With some...

Kate's Dream.

On our Facebook site, Medicine Wheel and Indigenous Dreaming - I came across this dream and this request from Kate. In response I promised her I’d write a short blog discussing the GENIUS of the dreaming. FROM KATE: Ok, I've got one for you...

I was lying in bed on one side of Mr. Miyagi (of the Karate Kid movies.) There were two other women on his other side. I got up to go put on a black bikini so that I could have sex with him. After I entered the first room in order to change my clothes, someone came in. So I found another place where I could change in private. Then I was in a room putting small menagerie type toy animals (like a pegasus with no front legs) into a box. But the box was also like a book. Each section/page had a few chess pieces in it. I would add a few animals, that belonged to my friend, then I would turn the "page" and open the next area which contained a few more chess pieces and add some more animals.

Help me out with this one! PLEASE! ☺ ...

Medicine Teachings

The smallest events in life can sometimes be the greatest teachings. In the last month, I’ve observed a hand full of people who are absolutely not comfortable with receiving gifts or asking for help. Strangely enough most people are conditioned to wait or hope for assistance and not too many understand that they can actually request it. When discussing the topic with several individuals this month I was caught aback by their common response: “Nobody has ever told me I could ask for help.” When I was growing up my parents taught my siblings and I to always ask permission. We had to ask permission to go in the fridge, out with a friend, out on a bike ride, away on a trip, out shopping etc… This Summer, JC who’s 12 years old and one of ET’s 4th cousin has been spending some of time at the house. I noticed how many times he had to check in with his mother or father to ask permission. “Can I go out for an ice cream?” “Can I go out to the market?” “Can I stay over for supper, c...
